Europe: Time to Plan!

Foi difícil escolher, mas no fim chegamos a um consenso: 20 dias entre setembro e outubro viajando por Portugal, Espanha, Inglaterra, França e Holanda.
It was hard to choose, but in the end we reached an accord: twenty days between September and October traveling through Portugal, Spain, England, France and the Netherlands.

Batido o martelo no roteiro, o primeiro imprevisto: o trio se transforma em dupla. Mesmo assim tínhamos que continuar. Engraçado que hoje, olhando para trás, conseguimos ver o lado bom das coisas, mas esta é uma história que contaremos em outro momento...
After taking a final decision on the itinerary, the first misfortune came up: the trio becomes a duo. But we had to continue anyway. It’s funny that nowadays, when we look back, we’re able to see the positive side of things, but this is a story we’ll tell in another moment…

Seguindo viagem, é chegada a hora de planejar! Diga-se de passagem, pra nós um momento super prazeroso. Literalmente, viajamos sem sair do lugar.
Moving on, it was time to plan! We can say, in passing, that it’s a super pleasant moment for us. Literally, we travel without moving.

Foram quatro meses de muita pesquisa em guias, revistas, sites e blogs.
Four months of research in guides, magazines, web sites and blogs.

Quatro meses levantando custos, afinal, sonhos custam dinheiro, né?
Four months calculating costs, after all, dreams cost money, right?

Muitas idas e vindas, voltas e reviravoltas, noites de reuniões que entravam madrugada adentro pra construir a programação dia-a-dia. Muitas vezes de tão envolvidos nos perguntávamos: pra onde vamos agora? Era como se já estivéssemos lá.
Lots of toing and froing, of turning and overturning, nights with meetings that went through the dawn to build our day-to-day itinerary. For many times so involved we were that we wondered: where are we going now? It was as if we were there already.

Passagens compradas. Albergues e hotéis reservados. Cidades, atrações e passeios definidos. Tudo certo pra viajar! E nossas férias ficaram assim:
Flight and train tickets bought. Hostels and Hotels reserved. Cities, attractions and tours decided. All set to travel. And our vacation ended up like this:

Portugal: Lisboa e Sintra, 3 dias. Espanha: Madri, 3 dias. Inglaterra: Londres e Stonehenge, 6 dias. França: Paris, 5 dias. Holanda: Amsterdã e Zaanse Schans, 3 Dias.
